Emberly includes a team collaboration platform called Nexium that lets you create shared workspaces, manage team members, and organize files collaboratively.

What is Nexium?
Nexium is Emberly's team collaboration layer that lets you:
- Create named teams (called "squads")
- Invite team members with specific roles
- Organize files in shared workspaces
- Manage permissions at the team level
- Track team activity and usage
- Scale from small teams to large organizations
Available on Blaze+ Plans
Team features require one of these plans:

Discovery Plans (Team Subscriptions)
For teams without individual Blaze+ subscriptions, Emberly offers Discovery plans — shared team subscriptions:

Discovery plans are shared team subscriptions. All team members share the same storage pool.
Key Concepts
Squad
A named team in Nexium. Examples: "Design Team", "Product", "Finance", etc.
Members
People invited to your squad with role-based permissions.
Workspace
Shared folder where squad members organize and collaborate on files.
Roles
- Owner — Full control, manage members, delete squad
- Admin — Manage members, workspaces, files
- Editor — Create and edit files, invite members
- Viewer — Download and view only
Quick Start
Create a Squad
- Go to Dashboard → Teams → Create Squad
- Enter a name and description
- Choose your team size
- Click Create
Invite Members
- Go to Squad Settings → Members
- Click "Invite Member"
- Enter their email and choose a role
- They'll receive an email invite
Create a Workspace
- Go to your squad dashboard
- Click "New Workspace"
- Enter a name (e.g., "Q2 Campaign Assets")
- Set member access level
- Click Create
Common Workflows
Sales Team File Sharing
Use a squad to share sales collateral (presentations, case studies, pricing sheets) with everyone on the sales team.
- Create a squad called "Sales"
- Add all sales reps
- Create workspaces for "Pitch Decks", "Case Studies", "Product Sheets"
- Upload assets to respective workspaces
- Everyone stays in sync with latest versions
Design Agency Project Delivery
Structure projects per-client with dedicated workspaces.
- Create a squad per client (or one squad with multiple workspaces per client)
- Assign designers and PMs to the squad
- Create workspaces for each project phase or deliverable
- Clients can join as "Viewers" for review access
Open Source Project Coordination
Organize community contributions and releases.
- Create a squad for your project
- Add core contributors
- Create workspaces for "Releases", "Assets", "Documentation"
- Grant community viewer access to approved materials

Create sub-workspaces to organize complex projects:
Role-Based Access
Set different permissions per workspace:
- Designers get edit access to Design workspace

Billing
Individual Team Plans (Blaze+)
If you have a Blaze+ plan, team features are already included. Add more team members anytime (if within your plan limit).
Discovery Shared Team Plans
Discovery plans are separate subscriptions shared by the entire team:
- Any team member can manage the subscription
- Billing is per squad, not per person
- Upgrade or downgrade team-wide
Calculating Costs
Option 1: Individual Plans
- 5 people on Blaze ($14.99/mo each) = $74.95/mo
- Total: $74.95/mo for 5 with 100 GB total storage
Option 2: Discovery Team
- 5-25 people on Discovery Team ($20/mo) = $20/mo
- Total: $20/mo for up to 25 with 50 GB shared storage
Troubleshooting
Member Not Seeing Files
- Check they were invited to the correct workspace
- Verify their role has access to that workspace
- Ask them to refresh their dashboard
Can't Invite More Members
- Check your plan limit (Blaze: 5, Inferno: 10, Ember/Enterprise: unlimited)
- Consider upgrading or using a Discovery plan
- Contact support if limits seem incorrect
Workspace Not Syncing
- Refresh your browser
- Check network connection
- Wait a few seconds — syncing may be in progress
- Contact support if issue persists
