Account Settings
Manage your Emberly account, security settings, and preferences.
Profile
Edit Your Profile
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Click "Edit Profile"
- Update your Profile Picture, Display Name, Bio, or Website
- Click "Save"
Privacy Settings
| Setting | Effect |

Account
Change Email
- Settings → Account → Change Email
- Enter your new email address
- Click the verification link sent to the new address
Keep access to your old email until the change is confirmed.
Change Password
- Settings → Account → Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
Password requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- Mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
- At least one number
- At least one special character
Delete Account
Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm with your password.
This is permanent
All files, URLs, domains, and data are immediately and irreversibly deleted.
Security
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Settings → Security → Enable 2FA
- Install any TOTP app (Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.)
- Scan the QR code
- Enter the code from the app to confirm
- Save your backup codes in a safe place
To disable, go to Settings → Security → Disable 2FA and confirm with a current code.
Upload Token
Your upload token is used by integrations (ShareX, Flameshot, API clients) to authenticate uploads.
- Find it at Settings → Profile → Upload Token
- Click "Regenerate" to invalidate the old token and issue a new one
Regenerating your token will break all existing integrations until they are updated.
Active Sessions
View and revoke active login sessions under Settings → Security → Sessions.
Notifications
Configure email notifications under Settings → Notifications:

Billing
- Settings → Billing → Upgrade Plan — instant, pro-rated
- Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription — cancel, downgrade, or view invoices
- Settings → Billing → Payment Method — update card details
