How much you can store and upload on embrly.ca, and how to ask for more.
embrly.ca is free. Every account gets the same storage space, upload size limit and number of custom domains. You can see your current usage and limits in Profile → Uploads, and on the dashboard Overview.
What the Limits Cover
| Limit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Storage | The total size of all your files. Deleting files frees space straight away. |
| Upload size | The largest single file you can upload. |
| Custom domains | How many of your own domains you can add. |
When an upload would take you over a limit, it's refused with a message saying which one. Nothing you've already uploaded is affected.
Getting More
If you need more storage or more custom domains, ask for it:
- Open Profile → Applications.
- Choose Limit increase.
- Say how much extra storage and how many domains you need, and what you'll use them for.
The team reviews requests and replies in the same place. Approved increases apply to your account straight away.
You can also earn extra domains through contributor and Discord perks.
No Limits at All
Running your own Emberly is free, and you set the limits yourself.
